Nashville-based singer-songwriter Tristen sat down with videographer Shawn Kornhauser to perform “Eager For Your Love” and talk about her debut album, Charlatans At The Garden Gate. Her brand of acoustic pop is based on strong narrative skills, with a unique storytelling voice. “If you’re going to make pop music, it doesn’t make sense to talk about yourself constantly,” she said, referring to the varied characters that inhabit her songs. Tristen is currently taking her matter-of-fact delivery and sense of wide-eyed wisdom on the road, with a cross-country tour that ends next month.
