Check out this brand new video of The David Mayfield Parade’s David Mayfield performing his song “Breath Of Love,” accompanied by The Avett Brothers’ Seth Avett on guitar and harmonies.

Mayfield, a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Kent, Ohio, has also collaborated with Cadillac Sky and Jessica Lea Mayfield, and joined the Avetts onstage at last year’s Bonnaroo and MerleFest. “Breath Of Love” comes from the just-released, guest-filled David Mayfield Parade, which Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons calls “an absolutely brilliant record.”

“If you can’t decide if you’re dead or alive, you just need to feel that way once,” sings Mayfield (which is especially true if you’re dead). It’s just about the prettiest song we’ve heard all year. Acoustic, beardy goodness.
