Good news for Beck fans.

Interscope will reissue Beck’s 1994 surrealist masterpiece One Foot in the Grave on April 14. The album will contain a host of bonus tracks, some of which have never been heard before. Details are sketchy, but likely tracks include “Teenage Wastebucket” and “Piss On the Door.”

Well, it’s been out of print for a few years, so it’s something we’ve been planning, but I knew that we had these extra tracks. I’ve actually been working on this for the past two or three years,” Beck told the Daily Yomiuri, a Japanese newspaper. “[On] the original tapes there were an extra maybe 30 songs that weren’t on the record and I picked the best… and added them on there, so it’s got about a little over a dozen extra tracks that no one’s heard before.”

These early tracks help complete the legend of Beck, before he evolved from lo-fi acoustic folk weirdo to Nigel Godrich-produced studio rat.

Exclaim.ca has the proposed tracklist. We’ll have to wait a little while longer for the real thing.
