Upcoming charity compilation features new cuts from My Morning Jacket, Cat Power, and more.
MySpace is currently streaming one song a day from the upcoming Dark Was the Night compilation, a charity album benefiting the Red Hot Organization that features exclusive new tracks from My Morning Jacket, Cat Power, David Byrne, the Decemberists, and many others.
Highlights include Conor Oberst and Gillian Welch duetting on a live version of Bright Eyes’ “Lua,” and Grizzly Bear and Feist teaming up on “Service Bell.”
Aaron and Bryce Dessner of indie rock stalwarts the National curated the double disc collection, out 2/16.
